Neither Here nor There: Travels in Europe by Bill Bryson
“A breezy and entertaining account of what it is like to be utterly at sea in a continent most of his readers will regard as familiar.” ~ Independent on Sunday
An account of Bills travels from Hammerfest, the northernmost town on the continent to Istanbul, with elements of local culture, places and people he met along the way. I loved his funny way of sharing his adventures and yes, as the quote above mentions, it was interesting to see that some things that are familiar to me were so unusual for him.
